**最後に辿り着いた、最も美しい完成形**  
「Come Together」のイントロほどクールな幕開けを、他にいくつ思い浮かべられるだろう。ジョン、ジョージ、リンゴ、ポール、それぞれの個性が鮮やかに交差していく。B面のメドレーが賛美されがちな一枚だが、多彩で隙のないA面もまた圧巻だ。サイケデリア、ハードロック、フォーク、電子音。後期ビートルズが広げてきた音楽的可能性を、実験の寄せ集めではなく極上のポップミュージックへと昇華している。  
革新性と親しみやすさ、4人の個性とアルバムとしての統一感。そのすべてが奇跡的なバランスで共存している。ビートルズ史上はもちろん、ロック史、さらに音楽史まで視野を広げても、私にとって「完璧なアルバム」という言葉にこれほど近い一枚はない。

**The most beautiful form they arrived at in the end.**  
How many album openings can you think of that are as cool as the intro to “Come Together”? From there, the distinct personalities of John, George, Ringo, and Paul intersect in vivid ways. The medley on Side Two tends to receive most of the praise, but the remarkably varied and flawless Side One is just as impressive. Psychedelia, hard rock, folk, electronic sounds—*Abbey Road* takes the musical possibilities the Beatles had expanded throughout their later years and transforms them, not into a collection of experiments, but into pop music of the highest order.

Innovation and accessibility, four distinct personalities and a unified album—everything coexists in an almost miraculous balance. Not only within the Beatles’ catalogue, but across the history of rock and music as a whole, no other record comes closer to what I consider a “perfect album.”
