## **NOTES ON SOUND.**

**English Ver:**
**Madness and Freedom in Garage Psychedelia**
Raw garage rock collides with blues, psychedelia, and noise, while Jeff Beck’s guitar unleashes a vicious, unruly energy, at times spewing out strange sounds like a machine on the verge of breaking down. The sheer freedom of an era before psychedelic rock had found its definitive form feels almost miraculous. Dirty, distorted, and gloriously unpredictable, that sense of danger is precisely what makes *Roger the Engineer* so compelling. Taking that chaos even further is “Psycho Daisies,” featuring both Beck and Jimmy Page. Its relentless, aggressive guitar riff carries a ferocity that seems almost unimaginable for the mid-1960s.

*“Psycho Daisies” is included as a bonus track.*
