## **NOTES ON SOUND.**

**English Ver:**
**Blissful Mellow Soul Woven from Effortless Grooves**
Stepping away from the lush arrangements and dramatic flourishes typically associated with Philly soul, *Be Thankful for What You Got* is a mellow soul album built around relaxed, easygoing grooves. Behind the music is a lineup of accomplished musicians from the MFSB circle. Gentle, rhythmic guitar playing, supple rhythms, and William DeVaughn’s unpretentious vocals come together to create an irresistibly warm and inviting atmosphere. The title track, “Be Thankful for What You Got,” perfectly captures the album’s spirit with its laid-back groove and message of gratitude for what we already have. Free from excessive ornamentation or emotional theatrics, this overlooked soul gem radiates understated beauty and a quiet sense of joy.
